Don't Bin It, Recycle it
Before you throw your old mobile phone or printer cartridge away, think again. They might be rubbish to you, but for YouthNet they can bring in vital funds.
Turning junk into money
Recycling is your opportunity to support us without spending a penny, and help the environment at the same time.
YouthNet works in partnership with Recycling Appeal to turn redundant phones and cartridges into funding. We receive anything from £1 to £7 for every mobile telephone recycled (it can sometimes be as high as £15) and from 25p to £5 for printer cartridges.

You wouldn't throw a fiver in the bin, so think twice before chucking your old phones and printer cartridges.
How to recycle for YouthNet
Individuals
It's easy. If you have any old phones or cartridges, all you need to do is:
- Fill out a registration form
- We'll then send a freepost envelope to you
- Simply pop your item(s) in the envelope and post it.
Companies
Why not get your company involved and make an even greater difference?
If your company recycled just 100 phones and 100 printer cartridges per year, YouthNet would receive enough money to provide expert and confidential answers to 50 young people via askTheSite.
We can arrange delivery and collection of a large recycling box for your office – all you need to do is contact us or call 020 7250 5700 and ask for any member of the Corporate Development Team.
