Set up your own event for YouthNet

Got a good eye for a money-making opportunity? Then why not put on your own event for YouthNet. Organising an event, however big or small, can be fun, motivating and inspiring.

Here are just a few suggestions:

  • Organise a Clothes Swapping party.  We've put together a pack with all the resources you need to organise a clothes swap.  You can download this here.
  • Make or bake something to sell to your workmates, family and friends
  • Organise a Curry and Quiz Night – a great opportunity to have fun, in the knowledge that it's for a fantastic cause
  • Everyone enjoys a party, so set one up in aid of YouthNet
  • If you know anyone in a band, organise a gig to showcase their talent whilst raising money to help change young people's lives
  • Get sponsored to shave your head/legs/back/chest – the greater the pain, the greater the gain!
  • Organise a sports tournament – whether it's football, bowling, netball or softball, find a sport you know people love and charge teams to enter
  • Get on eBay and rid yourself of items that have been lurking in your cupboards for years.

Your effort will make a huge difference to young people across the UK. By helping us continue to provide expert advice, guidance and support to 16 to 25-year-olds, more lives like Aisha's will be changed for the better.
