Here at YouthNet we love a bit of fancy dress so when we heard about this race, we just had to get involved! Combining fancy dress, fundraising and fitness, the Superhero 5K run takes place this summer in Greenwich Park, London. In return for a deposit of £25 and £100 sponsorship, we'll provide a place in the race and your very own superhero outfit. All you need to do is raise the money, put in the training and be the very best Spiderman/Dangermouse/She-Ra you can be!

Who: Anyone over the age of 8 can register to run so kids, you can show your parents who's the fastest! No previous experience is required and with a bit of training the 5km distance should easily be within your capabilities. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not 'winning' so you can run, jog or walk - you decide. We'll then be there to help you every step of the way with training and fundraising advice.
All funds raised will go towards helping YouthNet revolutionise online support for 16 to 25 year-olds throughout the UK and provide them with the support they need, when they need it most through award-winning website www.TheSite.org.
