Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation is supporting YouthNet to deliver a three-year programme of activity that aims to improve the financial capabilities of young people in the UK.
"Putting vital information into the hands of young people and helping them make informed decisions about their finances."
The Foundation is one of the largest independent grant-making foundations in the UK, making grants to organisations which aim to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the UK.
Specifically, this grant of £50,000 will enable us to provide important information on money matters in a new format that can be accessed and viewed by young people on their mobile phones. This will put vital information into the hands of young people and help them make informed decisions about their finances.
"We are extremely grateful to the Trustees of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation for their generous support. This will ensure that more than 260,000 young people each year achieve improved financial capability and are empowered to better manage their money, both now and in the future," Anna Kelly, Head of Trusts & Lottery, YouthNet.
