Who We Are
YouthNet helps young people make choices today for a brighter tomorrow.
We do this by providing information and support about anything and everything for 16 to 25 year-olds, through three innovative online services:
- TheSite.org: the guide to life for 16 to 25 year-olds
- Do-it: the UK's leading volunteering resource
- Lifetracks.com: a first port-of-call for work and study issues.
Founded by Martyn Lewis in 1995, YouthNet was the UK's first exclusively online charity. Today, we still specialise in reaching young people where they're at, delivering high quality information and support through a range of digital platforms .
At 15 years old, we're still a young charity, but we're proud of what we've achieved so far. We've got a great team of staff, an inspiring Board of Trustees, and a dedicated group of volunteers who help us shape and run our services. Over the years, we've formed groundbreaking partnerships, developed our very own software, helped to inspire people from diverse backgrounds to volunteer, and given millions of young people the advice and support they need to live their lives with confidence.
However, there's always more to do. Check out the get involved section to find out how you can become part of the future of YouthNet.
